This one was fun. π
A day of connection, nature, family and adventure at Deep Creek.
A group of brave, curious and fun young people explored, jumped, created, shared and laughed the day away outside, together. π
Thank you Yankalilla Council for creating spaces for young people and families to connect, learn and play.
Thank you young people for showing up, listening to each other, asking questions, making fairy garden, playing, drinking water out of a puddle and adding to such a wonderful day.π‘
As one young partcipant said, ' this is the best day of my life.' π
If you would like help creating a day like this, reach out. π±

The 2026 program is underway, celebrating its 10th Year.
I am facilitating this years program alongside Charles and Janice Manning, who are celebrating 10 years of delivering the program.
20 curious, community minded leaders are taking part from local council, government, small business, allied health and banking.
What I learnt this week?
Learning is best done and reflected back to us, in the presence of others who care about our success. Surround yourself with people that challenge you, champion you and see the gifts and strengths you posess.
That and cultivate a forest of people around you that you can regularly check in with.

Connection and leadership in action for our beautiful region. π‘
βοΈ Our 10th FFLP Foundations Week has officially come to a close! βοΈ
As our 2026 leaders head home tonight (to hopefully enjoy a weekend of rest and reflection!) we are feeling very grateful! For the crew who make it all happen... Our co-facilitation team Charles and Mark, our logistics coordinator Janice, our chairman Danny, for all the incredible FFLP board members and alumni who volunteer their time to make sure the wheels turn and the magic happens. For our fabulous guest speakers, for the hardworking crew at McLaren Vale Motel, for our suppliers - we have so much to be grateful for! That's the beauty of community. Enjoy your weekend FFLP fam, and stay tuned for more updates as the FFLP2026 team continues on the journey!

Great things happen when groups of people work together.
The MENtality Program is testament to this.
What started as an idea with Onkaparinga Youth, The Next Step Australia, Good Better Best Men and Restored Connection, is now up for a Local Government Leadership Award in Community Partnerships and Collaboration.
Wanting to create a space for young men to gather, learn, play and thrive, the MENtality Youth Program was born.
Now in its third year, the boys have created a culture of support, encouragement and fun.
Big thanks' to Ally from Onkaparinga Council and Richie from The Next Step Australia for all the time and work you put in to making MENtality happen.

I got to guide the 2025 Fleurieu Future Leaders through Day 1 of the Leading Self module. We explored values, how we show up for ourselves and the important relationships in our lives. Finished with some gratitude and mindfulness. π πHelping to create the leaders that will guide the Fleurieu Peninsula into the future. ππ‘π₯
Well... We are HERE! We MADE IT! πππΌ
Module Four - the last time our leaders will sit in circle to share, learn, reflect, and explore before Completions next month. Leading Self is the cornerstone of the FFLP; the lifelong leadership journey we travel with ourselves is the most important role we play, and it's one we often overlook.
Our 2025 leaders have the opportunity today and tomorrow to go deep on their relationship to self, led by FFLP2018 graduate and our resident personal mastery and connection expert Mark Koen of Restored Connection. The waves are lapping the sand on Normanville Beach, the coffee is hot, and our leaders are locked in. Let's do it!!!!
