Fireworks Professionals are shooting a fireworks display for the Port Adelaide Christmas Pageant this Saturday the 16th of November at 9 p.m. sharp. If you appreciate truly entertaining fireworks then this is the show that you do not want to miss this festive season in the area. The fireworks will be launched from the first jetty south of the Birkenhead Tavern. The display is designed to be best viewed from the Wharf on the Lighthouse side of the Port River. To be exact, the perfect spot is on the Wharf directly opposite the jetty and the closer you are to this point the better.

Dear Semaphore South residents. A Low Noise Fireworks Display will be conducted at ;

Glanville Hall Par 3 Golf Course, Wald Ave Semaphore South. The fireworks will be positioned 50m East of Glanville Hall for a function being held there on Sunday 15.9.2019 between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. for 5 minutes.

It will be a Low Noise Fireworks Display which is achieved by using fireworks that do not burst or explode with a loud boom or bang. Low noise fireworks use comets trails, spirals and showers of sparks etc. This means that the volume of noise from the display will be dramatically lower and of a low impact. It will be heard over a relatively small area contrasted with a typical exploding fireworks display. As an example I would estimate that residents at 250m may not hear anything if they were inside watching television.

Below is our standard animal warning for normal displays. For a low noise display the impact on animals should be minimal.
Some pets and farm animals can be disturbed by the noises of the fireworks. The RSPCA recommends that nearby animals should be secured (preferably inside in an area familiar to the animal) and nervous animals should be supervised (whilst secured).
