Matte Bat Tatts

Been slack with editing together tattoo posts, so we digging through my illustrations again!

This might look a little familiar to people in the TTRPG sphere 👀 This is one of many illustrations that I was commissioned for as part of the game Thirsty Sword Le****ns! Still one of the projects I’m most proud to have been a part of (and I still pop up here and there in Evil Hat’s projects, for example some work from me was one of the stretch goals for the Blades in the Dark ‘68 Kickstarter!)

To be honest, had COVID not happened, I likely would still be focused fully on TTRPGs and working in that industry.

I don’t regret a thing and am super happy with where I am now, but I do something think about where I’d be if I stuck with that path! I miss doing larger illustrations so if a tattoo isn’t your thing, keep I mind I do still take regular commissions too!

Why yes, you read that right! I’ll be at at the end of May, and I’d love some clients for larger scale pieces over the weekend! In particular, I’d love to enter a comp or two 👀

Listen… so my dive into Final Fantasy XIV was VERY brief… but that doesn’t mean I didn’t adore my character enough to draw her.

Her name is Eglantine Patine, she tried fighting for a bit, then joined the Chef’s Guild and still remains logged in there to this day. I hope she’s making wonderful stews.

Hey unrelated but does anyone want a Hex Girls tattoo?

Love love love to stylise some Pokemon! This was meant for the flash day (which has been rescheduled for Saturday 21st March!), but I’m super glad I got to do this piece despite the hiccup!

Pokémon is an absolute favourite for me to tattoo and I love trying different ideas for it!

Also I hope everyone playing Pokopia is enjoying it and I’m definitely not seething with jealousy

For something a little older! This is Brinyold, one of my first D&D characters and one of my oldest OCs as a result. He’s… not as snarky as he looks in this illustration I swear.
God it’s wild looking back at art from a few years ago and thinking about what I’d do differently now! Also this is when I still used CAP and my ol’ cintiq so forgive the timelapse length and crop

Some lovely lil’ Koroks to add to Vi’s watercolour collection! I. Tried really hard to not torture these lil’ guys in Tears of the Kingdom. But I am unfortunately very bad at video games and sent them in the wrong direction with rockets more than once.

The party in this game all got hit with the fantasy beam so we all had a design switch, so of course I had to be like “okay what if I somehow made her even hotter”

+ her day fit + her with her cool bodyguard sunglasses (she actually needs them she’s got light sensitivity)

This was for the as a poster for their performance “Water Stories”! For some lore, my partner plays bass in the band and they’re more commonly known for their ‘Music With Motion’ events, which highlights some of our favourite music from our favourite video games!

I’ve also drawn their key art for their upcoming show, “Senescence “, so if you’re a fan of a live orchestra performance, with more than a few nods to video games thrown in, absolutely suss them out 💪
