Jarran Zen
Chaotic Adventurer
Custom sound design experiments, early light, hospital sessions, CO₂ mask training in the basement, and lasers in the studio. Full spectrum.
Basement yoga, broken MIDI, and some slow studio troubleshooting. Kitchen resonator jams and cleaning chaos in between.
Cajon grooves, basement jams, studio electronics, and SpiderMonkey gets some Vietnamese Che. Wrapped in acro yoga and lo-fi flow.
Balcony camping turns into bathroom guitars, a full-blown consumer spiral, and buying a synthesiser I maybe didn’t need—but definitely wanted. Finished with some live electronic chaos.
A vocal session follows morning mace swings, pigeons race, balcony recordings roll, and Bunnings gets involved. This one’s weird in a good way.
Resonator guitar jams, a sunrise, a butter mishap, and trying to unscrew the 303 without wrecking it. The chaos is real.
A sunrise worth filming, harp tuning at the hospital, metal cello tones at sunset. Music is everywhere today—even in the sky.
Shoe art, Motorhead on slide guitar, and whatever dance SpiderMonkey was doing. Everything got weird—and stayed there.
I head downstairs for strings, change them in the studio, jam a little, and get roughed up at jiu-jitsu. Music and muscle memory both tested.
SpiderMonkey joins me for a gym session, we hit the balcony for a jam, I paint my Marshall guitar, and show off a hat with six eyeball colour options. Just a normal day.
Drove back to Adelaide, returned the car, reunited with SpiderMonkey, customised some shirts, and picked up my pinstriped guitar, Athena. Closed out the day at the A*O.
Morning chair jams, packing up gear, ice brick mythology, café stops, and stumbling on a perfect amphitheatre. Also: hat mods.
