We were thrilled to welcome Janet and Andrew from the P.A.R.T.Y. Program team in Latrobe, Victoria, to the Royal Adelaide Hospital recently. π
It was fantastic to spend time together, share stories, compare ideas, and learn from each other's experiences delivering the P.A.R.T.Y. Program. π€
While every site is a little different, we are all working towards the same goal of helping young people make safer choices and reducing preventable trauma.
The passion and commitment of P.A.R.T.Y. teams across Australia is something really special, and opportunities to connect like this help ensure the program continues to evolve and remain as powerful and relevant as possible for the students we reach. π
Thank you, Janet and Andrew, for taking the time to visit the RAH. We loved having you and look forward to continuing to collaborate and learn from our P.A.R.T.Y. colleagues across the country.

Yesterday was Thank a First Responder Day ππππ
We would like to thank all first responders for the incredible work they do every day to keep our communities safe.
Whether responding to emergencies, providing lifesaving care, supporting people through some of their most difficult moments, or simply being there when they are needed most, your dedication, compassion and professionalism is truly amazing.
We are especially grateful to the many first responders who support the PARTY Program, generously sharing their real-life experiences and insights to help educate young people and inspire safer choices.
Thank you for everything you do. We appreciate you today and every day. π

The P.A.R.T.Y. Program team recently visited the Riverland where they worked alongside SA Ambulance Service and South Australia Police to deliver important injury prevention and road safety messages to local students πππ¦
Regional roads bring challenges, higher speeds, long distances, fatigue, distractions, dirt roads, and wildlife can all contribute to serious crashes and life-changing injuries. Too often, the trauma on country roads has devastating consequences for young people, families, and entire communities.
Through the P.A.R.T.Y. Program, students hear real stories from frontline healthcare workers and emergency services personnel about how quickly things can go wrong, and how one decision can change everything.
A huge thank you to Riverland General Hospital who continue to welcome and support the program every year. Their ongoing commitment to local young people and injury prevention is something we are incredibly grateful for.
Slow down. Think twice. Because one choice could change your life forever π

A huge thank you to everybody who stopped by today, had a chat with us, signed the pledge to drive so others survive, and took the time to support such an important message.
Every decision we make on the road matters. Together, we can help create safer roads and ensure everybody gets home safely at the end of every day.
Thank you for helping us spread the message and get behind this important initiative. ππ€π

Happy National Volunteer Week π
Volunteers play an important role across so many organisations, and at P.A.R.T.Y., they are truly invaluable.
Theyβre there for students throughout the program, offering support during difficult moments, a listening ear, or sometimes just a reassuring presence.
Weβre incredibly grateful for the compassion, care and time they give so generously.
A special thank you to our volunteers supporting programs across Lyell McEwin Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and the Royal Adelaide Hospital π

Today, on International Nurses Day, we recognise and thank the incredible Emergency Department and Intensive Care nurses who make up the heart of the P.A.R.T.Y. Program π
The passion, experience, and honesty these nurses bring when they share their real-life stories with students show that they go above and beyond the clinical environment to help educate, empower, and inspire safer choices.
To our amazing P.A.R.T.Y. nurses, and to nurses everywhere, thank you for the care, compassion, dedication, and difference you make every single day.
