A Blind Boy – story and moral

“A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, “Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?”

The man said, “I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.” I wrote: “Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it.”

Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story:

Be thankful for what you have.. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have thousand reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…and even more beautiful, is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!! You may touch someone’s heart today and forever.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

There is a reason why AI cannot truly replace writers, poets, creators and thinkers.
AI is searching through the past, churning up existing thoughts and creations, piecing them together neatly, into a hybrid of what has gone before.

It is re-hashing and remodelling from a database we already made.

It is not connecting to the invisible, mystical source, that injects this planet of ours with its beauty, its art, its wonder.

It is not creating new, using heartache as the paper, grief as the pen, stitching together wounds and weaving magic from their blood

Drop by drop, the true creator’s pain is woven into understanding, inspiration, empathy and most importantly of all, that soul connection…
which cannot be explained.

And believe me, the reader, the onlooker, the gazer and lover of such works, will know.

There will be no tingle of goosy flesh, rising to meet that invisible, unexplainable source, as it leaves the thinker’s work and enters into their very being, to be part of a glorious tapestry, forevermore.

Some things cannot be explained, or coded, or created without visiting true soul source.

Thank goodness.

This conversation came up more than once over the weekend!

FEELING THE TRUTH

People chat to you on buses, share their every woe,
There's always hearts that open, wherever you may go.
A stranger leaves you feeling like you've always been together.
Those that know your heart want to know your heart forever.

Some, no matter how you smile, will look the other way;
Some will spit out anger, kick the dirt and walk away,
For everybody feels that vibration of your truth,
And nobody can help it - their truth is felt through you.

Some are searching for their truth, they feel your healing glow
And tell you all their secrets, even some they didn't know,
And when they spill their truth, they feel that warm elation,
For you've both connected to that loving true vibration.

Some, they know their path and just recognise your essence;
They feel their family vibe and just embrace your presence.
When they meet you, eyes connect, without a word you know;
Your worlds unite in knowing, galaxies begins to glow.

But some are still in hiding, too feared to show their truth
And when your eyes connect with theirs, they feel attacked by you.
They'll avoid you if they can, but some can't hold it down
And out come their defences, pushing you to doubt.

Just know that when you make the choice to love with all your heart,
You hold the truth, for love is truth, love is all we are.
There's so much love around, everyone is of our tribe
But only some right now, can appreciate that vibe.

Learn to feel your presence; the power that it holds,
Know some will feel such love from you, but some hold onto cold.
Just keep loving anyway, in every way you can,
For even those who hide now, might one day understand.

We all have our story. Our own unique journey and sometimes that journey changes due to something we've come across along the way. Times that have changed us or times where we just can't view the world the same again! Attendees will be sharing these significant moments that have changed their life with other attendees at our How to CHANGE a LIFE Deep Thinker Discussion night.

Perhaps it is a story or a book you've read? Maybe a song you've heard or a movie you've watched. Maybe it is a project you took on or a place that you visited? A person you met or an unexpected life event? Feel free to bring along any books/ items to share if you need to.

This event will be a relaxed social night where attendees will be free to mingle with different attendees while you eat, drink and share times that have changed your life with other people in the group!
