Failure enables one to look deeper into what they are trying to achieve, it breeds humility, resilience and contributes to becoming fearless in your pursuits.

This morning we were talking on in Warrnambool, Victoria about tonight’s screening.

It’s not too late to dream another dream.

It is not unusual to occasionally wish you were doing something different with your career, we’ve all been there.

It’s also not surprising when the system is asking you to decide what you want to do at 18, when school is all you have known along with possibly a part time job.

If you’re finding yourself in this exact spot, it’s time to get the pen and paper out and start goal mapping.

Firstly ensure you understand what it is you’re not enjoying about your current role, perhaps you like the industry but not the part you’re playing or perhaps you work shift work and have had enough. Write it all down.

Then think about what your ultimate dream job would be, is it realistic and what steps do you need to get there.

Remember it’s up to you to make the change, and change can happen whenever you want.

Do you have a budget?

This is the first question I ask clients that are working with me, regardless of what they earn. The fact is, it doesn’t matter what you earn, if you have no idea of your spending patterns, you could eventually drink the well dry.

Budgeting is just one of the life skills I can set you up with, and the earlier you learn this skill, the more inclined you will be to save.
