Just back from Sydney, Kyle Egel & Jonny Cook attended the Young Guns of Wine Awards Dinner as a finalist, Top Winemakers 2022. A serious accolade for two young guns who have their feet firmly planted in McLaren Vale, founding their fledging brand Saltfleet Wines in 2021! The inaugural release, a 120year old bush vine Grenache and a Touriga Nacional, both housed in neutral, large-format oak and both with no additions bar a low dose of sulphur.

“Our Wines are made with a balance of minimal intervention and modern winemaking techniques,” says Egel. “

“This is our way of applying the knowledge and skills we have learnt over the years from working with some amazing people in our industry and creating a style of wine that we love to drink.”
