LAB RATS x LI YUN [OZASIA]

Li Yun — Taiwanese director, sound designer, and scenographer — invites participants to explore how sound can generate structure, shape attention, and evoke memory through embodied listening, spatial reconstruction, and movement-text improvisation.

Rather than adding sound to a finished work, this workshop investigates how performance might emerge from sound itself. Ideal for artists in theatre, dance, performance, and sound design seeking new compositional and dramaturgical tools.

LAB RATS x ELSEWHERE IN INDIA: Return To Technopia [OZASIA]

Join Murthovic and Thiruda as they share the creative journey behind Elsewhere in India — a pioneering Indo-futurist work fusing 3D video games, AI art, motion-captured dance, and archival footage.

From collaborations with traditional South Indian musicians to digital artists worldwide, their vision of “AI for Cultural Good” has led them to work with the British Film Institute, AGNSW, and the Immigration Museum Melbourne.

This Lab Rats session dives into how heritage, science, and imagination come together in a playful yet thought-provoking vision of India in 2079.

LAB RATS x FRAZ THE WIZARD: Digital Alchemy in the 3rd Dimension [Workshop Series]

Over four weeks you will learn the fundamentals of Blender while exploring fast, fun, and unconventional techniques. You'll capture real-world photos to create textures and model from them, then dive into animation and collaborative experiments in a playful learning space.

No experience needed – just curiosity and a willingness to explore!
