3 Years ago today we played our debut gig at the Broadcast Bar (those steps…)

It was in support of Fear in Dakota where we had the pleasure of meeting Cameron Haycock. A lovely bloke taken far too soon…

We met our long time musical Friends Mantra that night too.

The first and last time as a 5 piece, and this song has never been played Live ever since.

If you watch the whole clip, you’ll know we’re launching our Single ‘Insincere’ which is also our first foray into the world of the indie record label. It’s only been a few weeks, so we have nothing more to report on that, as experience so far is limited…

Hope you’ve had a good weekend, one and all. We had rehearsal plans today, but it didn’t eventuate, which is a bummer🫤 ‘cause we’ve been on a writing binge lately, and it’s always good to feel out how arrangements and dynamics of new tunes fare when we’re firing on all cylinders🚀. Today though we are firing on most of them, so decided to have a rest.

Which brings us to this moment in time that will forever be etched in the digital timestamp of the internets.

We’ve lots we wish we could scream and rant and rave about, but figure there’s always different perspectives to choose from, right? So in the interest of interest's sake, dear reader, read on.

This song Insincere really isn’t about anytime or anyone or anything in particular. Perhaps more a conglomerate of feelings relating to different events that somehow made themselves those few intelligible words or phrases that poke out when writing the melody and then become what it is you're hearing today…? As for the music, well, it's just how we 3 do what we do. And to be frank it's super fun, more folks should try it.
