Here’s a possible opportunity for our Rapid Enterprise Development - RED community to have a go at testing changes to the NDIS Planning Framework. Details below (BTW: There’s possible payment for testers).

Help Test the New Way of Planning (NDIS)
The NDIA is inviting NDIS participants to help test a proposed new way of planning before it is introduced from April 2027. Testing will take place between July and December 2026 and is designed to help the NDIA understand what works well and what may need improvement.

Participants can choose to take part in activities such as a simulated support needs assessment and helping to train and accredit future NDIA assessors. Participation is voluntary, paid, and will not affect a participant’s current plan, future funding, eligibility or supports.

The NDIA is seeking participants with a range of disability types, support needs and lived experiences. Expressions of interest are open until 31 December 2026.

Learn more and express your interest via the NDIS Engage website:

The 50th annual NAIDOC Week starts tomorrow, and The RED Group acknowledges the traditional custodians of the Kaurna lands, upon which we work.

We also encourage everyone in our Rapid Enterprise Development - RED community to participate in an an activity that supports our First Australians. This could be watching a movie or other type of storytelling, attending a NAIDOC event or finding other ways to learn more about the cultures that existed for thousands of years before the arrival of Captain Cook.

50 Years of Deadly. 🖤💛❤️

This year’s NAIDOC Week theme, 50 Years of Deadly, honours the stories, languages and leadership that have shaped the week for five decades.

It celebrates who First Nations peoples are today.

🖤 Grounded in culture.

💛 Strong in identity.

❤️ Sharing stories in their own way and on their own terms.

Still deadly. Always.

Neurodiversity Pride Day – 16 June
Today is Neurodiversity Pride Day—a global movement celebrating neurodivergent people and the unique strengths they bring to our communities.

This day highlights that every brain is different, and that diversity in thinking, learning and experiencing the world is something to be valued and respected.

Whether you identify as neurodivergent, are supporting someone, or are continuing to learn—today is about:
• Pride
• Belonging
• Self-acceptance
• Community

Everyone deserves to be seen, heard and supported to be themselves.
Take time today to celebrate neurodiversity and reflect on how we can create more inclusive spaces for all.
