Exhibition: 10 STORIE DI ARCHITETTURE E COMUNITÀ ALPINE

We would like to draw your attention to the exhibition ’10 Stories of Alpine Architecture and Communities’, which is on display at the Politecnico di Milano, IT – until 30 April 2026.

The exhibition continues the themes of the documentary film “MOUNTAIN TIME: Alpine Architecture in Ten Stories” and reflects on the collective dimension of architectural creation in the Alpine region, a subject with which Architetti Arco Alpino has dealt in depth.

We are very delighted that our Kindergarten in Niederolang is featured as one of the ten stories in the documentary.

In zehn verschiedenen Geschichten zeigt der Dokumentarfilm, wie gutes Bauen und Design in den Bergen als Motor für sozialen, ökologischen und wirtschaftlichen Wandel für lokale Gemeinschaften fungieren kann.

ASSEMBLY #8: Desires of Better Living

When it comes to a future BETTER LIVING, questions of community will be essential. How do we want to live, work, and love together in the future? A workshop with architecture students from the University of Art and Design Linz is dedicated to questions about the history and the future of community. Students and interested visitors to the pavilion join invited guests to discuss the longing for community as an opportunity for both bottom-up and top-down strategies. If self-organization and activism are indispensable for creating community, it is imperative to ask how these can be initiated and what architecture is necessary for this process. Who will need what kind of community in the future? What formal or informal processes have to be set in motion? And what does community even mean in a city like Venice, Rome, Vienna – or in any other city?
