Ahead of our General Assembly on June 22, we're introducing the candidates standing for the PCE Europe Board.

Thierry Dudreuilh brings over four decades at the intersection of humanistic practice, conflict resolution, psychotherapy, and scientific inquiry - from organisational leadership to training alongside PCEA pioneers, fifteen years as a volunteer mediator and President of Jacqueline Morineau's CMFM, and 18 UNESCO peace missions in post-conflict settings. In 2015, he co-founded Académie-ACP in Luxembourg, and his research on the neurobiological grounding of the PCEA corroborates the foundational theses of Rogers and Gendlin.

If elected, Thierry would contribute to the Marketing Committee - extending PCEA into conflict resolution, organisational life, and education - and the Science and Research Committee, advancing a common research framework for PCEA.
His candidacy is rooted in 35 years of practice showing that person-centred conditions can restore the possibility of being human again, even in extreme circumstances, and that science can now help explain why the PCEA works.

Ahead of our General Assembly on June 22, we're introducing the candidates standing for the PCE Europe Board.

Stanislava Grachova is a psychologist and psychotherapist based in Slovenia, working from a person-centred and experiential perspective with adults and couples, integrating EFT and EMDR alongside core PCE values. She has been active in advancing the visibility and professional recognition of person-centred psychotherapy in Slovenia, including contributions to legislation and professional standards.
If elected, Stanislava aims to strengthen international collaboration within PCE Europe, with a particular focus on Eastern Europe and the post-Yugoslav region - building stronger connections between practitioners, training institutes, and emerging professional communities.

Hey, UK person-centred supervisors!
James Durrant, a student at the University of Nottingham, is looking
for co-researchers (person-centred supervisors) to take part in a qualitative research study.
The study is to investigate the impact asking a client questions has in person-centred or person-centred experiential (PCE) counselling and psychotherapy, including therapist directivity, power and perceived expertness.
Some of the benefits of taking part include:
- The opportunity to contribute to research which may ultimately benefit clients
- You may find it rewarding to talk about your views and experiences
- There is a possibility that you could be recognised as a co-author of the research, if it is published
- You will have access to the findings which may inform your practice

If you’re interested in finding out more or taking part? Please email James at [email protected]

We would like to share that Elektra Diakolambrianou, one of the PCE Europe Board members, has stepped down from her position due to personal reasons.

She has made the decision to step down due to personal reasons, and we completely support her in this. Like all of our board members, she served entirely as a volunteer — giving her time freely out of passion and commitment to our mission.

We sincerely thank her for her contributions, her dedication, and the positive impact she made during her time on the board. We wish her all the very best in whatever comes next.
