Last weekend we attended Opolagra 2026, the largest open-air agricultural fair in southern Poland with over 300 exhibitors, organised by DLG Agrofood Sp. z o.o.

Our biogas expert Olha Sydorchuk will be attending the 9th edition of the Biomethane Congress 2026 in Warsaw.
The industry gathering takes place on 18–19 May 2026 and is organized by Magazyn Biomasa, Poland’s leading biogas industry publisher.

The conference brings together investors, technology providers, energy companies, and industry associations to discuss the future of biogas and biomethane in Poland and across Europe. We’re looking forward to inspiring exchanges, new perspectives, and engaging discussions as we help shape the future of sustainable energy systems.

Driving Ecological Change in Rural Regions - The Rouesse-Fontaine PowerRing Biomethane Plant.

In October 2024, the Rouesse-Fontaine facility proudly opened its doors to the public, offering a unique glimpse into the world of local green gas production. Each year, the plant processes 41,500 tons of agricultural waste and cover crops, generating 247 Nm³/h of renewable gas - enough to supply approximately 1,400 households! This achievement is supported by 25 local farms that are committed to meeting both ecological and economic challenges within their community, supplying essential feedstock for the plant.

The Czech Republic is entering a new stage in its biomethane development.

After a period of strong biogas growth between 2008 and 2013, the market is now shifting its focus towards biomethane.
In April 2026, the European Commission approved a €3.7 bn state aid scheme to support sustainable biomethane production through 2030. The program supports both new plants and the upgrading of existing biogas facilities, offering greater investment certainty and enabling applications in transport, heating and industry.
