We are glad to announce the open call for We Are Data fellowship program for 2019 - 2020.
We Are Data is a 7-month long fellowship program based in Cairo. The fellowship is a collaboration between Cairotronica - Cairo Electronic and New Media Arts Festival and Impakt Centre for Media Culture.

The program aims to build an interdisciplinary practice that integrates new technologies with art and design. The program comprises monthly workshops, meet-ups, mentorship and other activities. Projects developed during this program will be exhibited during the third festival edition of Cairotronica in June 2020.

The project is supported by: Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie and Arab Studies Institute (ASI).

نحن بيانات هو برنامج زمالة لمدة ٧ اشهر فى القاهرة وهو نتاج تعاون بين كل من كايروترونيكا -مهرجان القاهرة للفنون الإلكترونية والوسائط الجديدة- ومركز ثقافة الوسائط السمعية البصرية إمباكت.

يهدف البرنامج إلى خلق مجتمع من الفنانين المهتمين بتضمين التقنيات الحديثة في ممارساتهم في مجالَي الفن والتصميم. يشمل البرنامج ورش عمل ولقائات وجلسات دعم وتوجيه وانشطة أخري. سيتم عرض المشاريع التي يتم تطويرها خلال البرنامج كجزء من النسخة الثالثة لمهرجان كايروترونيكا في يونيو ٢٠٢٠.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
„Take over“ is a new EPHEMERAL SPACES exhibition as part of THE WRONG DIGITAL ART BIENNALE from November 1st 2019 toMarch 1st 2020.
Selected submissions will be exhibited on the „WRONG ROUTER“ which is a device to display digital art for anyone with a smartphone, tablet or computer via a free WIFI. The router and its exhibition will be placed (hidden) in art venues, galleries, museums around Vienna (AT) and Venice (IT) during the Biennale as the viennese pavillion of THE WRONG.
We invite artists of all nationalities to submit digital art projects related to the theme of the exhibition: „Take over“. Submit your images and/or videos that can be displayed on a webpage. (images with 900x900, video 1920x1080) Submission is open to individuals and collectives worldwide and is free of charge.
