Lily’s leather journal is her everyday companion, holding her diary, a small agenda for habit tracking, and a notebook filled with ideas. At home, she keeps two [pocket] grand voyageur as tiny archives of past refills, a quiet reminder of moments worth saving. Her pages are filled with personal touches too: brass charms that inspire her jewelry-making journey, and postcards from a favorite artist’s snail-mail club tucked safely inside.

When Matthew reached out to l’atelier bespoke, he had a vision for his 10th wedding anniversary: a bespoke trifold journal that mapped his wife Lidia’s heritage. From her birthplace in Brazil to the Seoul Namsan Tower, he wanted to bridge her world in one gift.

Our artisan Hannah spent days meticulously hand-cutting and hand-stitching every intricate landmark into the leather. When a journal is meant to mark a decade of marriage, it has to be as enduring as the bond itself.

The result? As Matthew told us: “Lidia loves her new journal, happy tears were a great sign.”

This is why we opened the doors of l’atelier bespoke. We don’t just make stationery, we build handcrafted legacies.
