The Augmented Reality Summit (AR Summit) takes place in London on the 13th June 2012. The AR Summit is the international event for AR specialists to meet and exchange their knowledge and inform themselves about latest developments and trends regarding AR. IT5 speech at "mobile marketing innovation day"

The Mobile Marketing Innovation Day is a congress at the Vienna mumok museum, where national and international mobile marketing experts and marketing specialists discussed the newest trends in the mobile sector. Markus Meixner presented IT5 and the possibilities of innovative technologies in mobile marketing. Augmented Reality technology like ViewAR and games were shown. Another topic was public gaming. Public gaming means that people are able to play games on large screens using their private smartphones.

IT5 releases the first Augmented Reality app for construction industry named "Wohntraum am Olympiapark". Using Augmented Reality, buyers film the cover of the broshure with their smartphone or tablet and see the building in 3D. The building can then be viewed from all angles and perspectives with all details. The app also includes some basic information about the project, a google-maps view of the construction site and contact details.
