EURYDICE
"I turn to you,
your face, your voice,
you brought me peace."
In many ways, Eurydice's life feels incomplete. She died too young, abruptly, on her wedding night, with so much left to be and do, so many regrets and experiences she missed out on.
In the underworld, she is torn between what she has now and what she had in life, mourning herself as well as building a future with what she has left.
When Orpheus comes for her, her uncertainty reaches new heights - she realises she must make a decision.
Eurydice will be played by Stage Left newbie Momo Maresch.

ORPHEUS
"I could write another thousand songs
as the years go by
another thousand songs to sing to you
of all the things we'll do"
When Eurydice dies, Orpheus is distraught and refuses to accept things as they are. Instead, he goes on a journey to the underworld to convince the gods that she should get another chance at life.
Once the chance is obtained, however, what will be the outcome? Will they mess it up? Or will they live happily ever after?
Orpheus will be played by Phin Anibal.

PERSEPHONE
"Who's to say she's still the person you knew before she died?"
Persephone is Queen of the Underworld, travelling between two realms, never quite belonging to either. Even after everything she's been through, she still believes in second chances - at love, at life, for mortals and for gods.
Persephone will be played by Stage Left sweetheart Ximena Kalss.

"My emotions do not dictate the way I run this realm."
Hades is all business, order, rules.
When a certain singer arrives in the underworld, hell-bent on getting his wife back, the King of the Dead is set on denying him - his Queen, however, has other ideas.
Hades will be played by returning favourite Sai Wöbking. .sai

EURYDICE'S MOTHER
"I write you letters. I don't know how to get them to you."
Even beyond death, Eurydice's mother seeks to give her daughter advice and be there for her whenever she might need it.
She cherishes the time they have together in the underworld, making up for lost time - but her daughter's tragic death is far from the end of her story.
Posting Mama for Mother's Day ☺️
Eurydice's mother will be played by Stage Left founding member Teresa Distelberger.

THE FATES
With an ever-watchful eye, the Fates preside over the lives of mortals - spinning, measuring and in the end, cutting the string of life.
In Eurydice, they see something different, a clinging to her former self that may just be enough to release her from the realm of the dead.
Atropos, the one cutting the string, signifying a person's death, will be played by Emilia Wess
