Paavo Tynell A1957 counterweight pendant, 1950
Rare and exceptionally refined ceiling light executed in brass that can be raised and lowered using its ingenious counterweight and pulley system, which we have checked. The cable has been replaced for smoother gliding. It was manufactured by Taito Oy in the early 1950s and works with one Edison bulb, socket, e27/26.

This is a rare model, that hardly shows up; it's in its original condition, rewired, cleaned and working perfectly. It's conceived around the idea of a lantern contextualizing the modern era which was a typical approach for the 1950's. The brass structure, including tapering ivory or cream enameled metal frame and satin or acid-etched glass panel shades is ending with a decorative brass finial. The original ivory enameled canopy as the cap for covering the connection from stem to lantern are present.

Large model 551 chandelier by Oscar Torlasco for Lumi. Enameled metal, brass with the original canopy. Original chandelier, refurbished at one point and newly rewired. It's deliberate design is typical for the 1950-1960 with the subject of atomic or sputnik aesthetics.

The chandelier model 12818 by Elio Monesi for Arredoluce is a scarce original example of Monesi's design philosophy, showcasing a harmonious balance between modern elegance and timeless craftsmanship. The chandelier features a unique geometric structure (array of the shades) combining sleek lines with organic shapes (the black structure). It's comprised from 5 heavy glass shades, marking structural points and a blackened brass structure connecting all the shades.
