Recap of my first Lynx brutality! Spoiler: it's called brutality for a reason.

This was so much fun, even though I spent most of the match slightly confused because it’s completely different from anything I’ve done before. No stage walkthroughs, only short briefings, so you basically step in with a rough idea and figure things out as they unfold.

First experiences are always special because you have no idea what to expect.

Some stages looked absolutely impossible at first. A few of them made me laugh at the sheer absurdity of what was being asked of us - and then somehow I ended up doing them. In most cases, I even did them surprisingly well. There was so much growth happening in real time, and honestly, I’m really proud of myself for that (which is not something I say very often).

The stage design was incredible, and the logistics and administration were executed flawlessly by and their team. Such a wholesome experience from start to finish.

I got to meet so many new faces, reconnect with familiar ones, had countless valuable conversations, and shared a lot of laughs. My favorite part of events like this will always be the people.

On top of that, getting to test my gear at its limits while adapting to a completely new environment and rule set was challenging, rewarding, and incredibly educational.

I learned a lot, and I already can’t wait for Finnish Brutality in August.
