It’s been a while, but we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes. We are excited to announce the launch of our new sublabel: Hawara International. This new imprint will focus exclusively on international reissues, curated with the help of friends (hawara) from all over the world. We're starting this autumn with a series of forgotten gems from Japan.

Back at home, things are moving just as fast. Our bestselling Austro-reggae 7" from Cracy Coconuts is officially being repressed and will be available on Bandcamp in a few months' time. We are also wrapping up all licensing for the second volume of The Other Sound of Music compilation. More soon!

In the meantime, you can regularly find us behind the decks at , Vienna's first, only and best listening bar. We hope to see you there for a drink or three!

This time, the complete Edition Hawara Trio – featuring Julian Horn, Fabio Wolkenstein, and Jonny Nemetz – will be behind the decks.
We'll be spinning a wide-ranging selection, drawing an arc across the globe with deep 70s & 80s Groove and Jazz Tunes from 9 PM to 2 AM. 
Expect eclectic sounds to move your mind and soul.

Als Mitbegründer des Reissue-Labels Edition Hawara hat Jonny Nemetz 2018 erstmals ein österreichisches Album neu aufgelegt: "Straight Ahead" von der Kremser Jazz-Disco-Funk-Formation Zenit. Zwischenzeitlich war es fast in Vergessenheit geraten, danach ein rares Sammlerstück. Eine Wödscheim – nicht nur für Jonny. In der neuen Episode spricht er mit uns ausführlich darüber.
