Ever had an idea you truly believed in, and the funding to back it, but still felt like something was missing to really make it take off? 🌱

That was MigraPort, before EDGE.

They already had the vision and had just won the Gründungsstipendium from Wirtschaftsagentur Wien — real support that gave them their first concrete steps forward. What they were looking for next was new perspectives and the right people in their corner.

That's where EDGE came in. Through the program, MigraPort was matched with Dr. Constanze Stockhammer, and what started as a mentorship match turned into an ongoing collaboration. She became part of the journey, and still supports MigraPort's growth today.

That growth is showing: MigraPort is now one of 10 projects up for the Social Impact Award, and they're in the running for the Community Award through public voting. On October 7th, we'll find out if they take home the Community Award, the Jury Award, or both. 🤞

We are closing tech2impact.

Over six years, we built a community of 1000+ members, backed by 100+ mentors and 50+ partners. We ran 8+ programs — including EDGE, REDpreneur and a fundraising accelerator — and INSIDEOUT Summit brought together 800+ people over the years.

We’re grateful to our team of 45+ people, to every partner and funder who built real impact alongside us, and to every member and mentor who joined our mission of empowering purpose-driven innovators.

Why? We tried every business model we could to turn tech2impact into an actual business, not a project-to-project operation. We launched in COVID and kept going through recessions, budget cuts, and an unstable world. Despite real growth, the model still tied our stability to things outside our control — which grant cycle was open, how much public capital was around, whether a partner cut their budget. It hasn’t given us what we need for the long term.

Your mission shouldn’t be defined by your company, and your mental health comes first. So we’re saying goodbye to tech2impact, and carrying our own missions forward elsewhere.

We’re not closing yet, though. One more round of EDGE this autumn, with 50+ mentors. We wind down in Spring 2027.
