As someone born in Ukraine, I deeply understand the dangers associated with media being controlled by oligarchs or other power-driven individuals.
I know the price we pay for it.
Having worked on numerous projects for , even on topics very sensitive to me, I’ve seen correspondents remain neutral with their primary goal being to deliver truthful information.
I want you to know: it’s a privilege!
I am happy and proud to work for independent media. Happy to pay for its independence with money, not with peoples lives.
You usually see me smiling. And that is because my each day is a balancing act between professional responsibilities and the deep concern for my family and fellow Ukrainians.
