Next week, we have our final concert featuring the pieces from my CD R-(Evolution)! I decided to hold it in the same church where I recorded some solo pieces during the cold winter for the CD. One of the big challenges during recording was accounting for airplanes, since the Innsbruck airport is nearby. For the live concert, this isn’t an issue—but for the recordings, even distant singing birds had to be taken into consideration!
So I am much looking forward to performing in Tyrol with my partner Elias Praxmarer on the organ!

Prokofiev - Violin Sonata No. 2 — the final thirty seconds of the last movement. Prokofiev is one of my favorite composers, and I had the joy of performing this work about a month ago in my own concert series in Vienna, together with the wonderful pianist Mennan Bërveniku.

So happy to be performing again in the beautiful Grand Hall of Palais Eschenbach, the House of Engineers, right in the heart of Vienna! This concert is part of my own concert series, which alternates every two years with my BACH Evening at Hofburgkapelle Vienna - the next one will take place at about the same time in 2026!

It’s been about ten years since I first started learning the Sibelius Violin Concerto — a truly wonderful piece which is frequently performed and part of the standard repertoire for many violinists. In this video, I’ve recorded the beginning of the third and final movement of this amazing concerto!
