Inspired by our last events in the framework of the Voice 4 Youth project, we want to invite you to explore the question “How do we envision a neighbourhood that enables youth participation?”

We will use the method of vision galleries to stretch our imaginations in envisioning the kind of society we would like to create, and discover how much we have in common with others, or not.

Afterwards there will be a community dinner 🤝

Inspired by the discussion about barriers to engagement for young adults in Vienna, we want to invite you to explore the question “Where do I start?”.

We invite you to explore the possible paths to engagement that we can encounter in Vienna. We will play a game designed by the .wien, an association supporting citizen participation and empowerment at the local level, and add our own little twist to it. We brainstorm specific topics of interest, talk about our values and find likeminded collaborators (or adversaries?).

There will be drinks, snacks and time before and after to just hang out .wien

The workshop is targeted to people from 18 to 30 years old. Participation is possible in English and German.

🌸 CAN gathering RECAP & BIG TAHNK YOU! 🌸

This last weekend we experienced a sunny community gathering and want to say thank you for everyone’s contributions, openness, and shared intention. We came together to connect, co-create, and explore how to strengthen civil society in sessions curated and held by anyone who wanted to. In an open space format we shared experiences and curiosity as organizers, facilitators, activists, and community practitioners, leading to diverse perspectives and fresh ideas. We also had lots of fun with shared meals, table tennis matches and playful activations, choir practice and a bonfire. 🔥

What do we want? CARROTS! Where do we want them? IN JARS!!
Yes, the Carrots in Jars is still happening, the last workshop from this series for now! Take a chance to experience it, and learn with us! Are you curious about what they are about? Come by and bring some jars! We will fill them together with leftover veggies from a Viennese local farm, while learning something about saving and preserving food. Were you at one of the previous workshops? Then you’re very welcome to share your knowledge and experience this evening and continue some of the discussions around food production and food waste we started last time.
Participation in the workshop is free/donation-based. People from all backgrounds and all levels of prior knowledge are welcome to join. We kindly ask to register in advance so we can plan accordingly.
