„“Los Mandatos del Aire“ (The Mandates of the Air) is the new solo album by peruvian flautist and composer created in dialogue with Musuk Nolte’s photographic series „Las Pertenencias del Aire“ (The Belongings of the Air). Inspired by the visions evoked through ayahuasca ceremonies and the cosmology of the Amazon, this work transforms sound into a bridge between the visible and the invisible.

The music featured on this album presents a statement structured through a deconstructed approach to the flute and a deep exploration of ways to expand its sound spectrum, using a variety of analog electronic hardware to process the flute´s sound along side resonant, spacious, dark, complex and fully acoustic melodic discourses recorded in a reverberation chamber. Extended techniques and preparations on the flute, different tuning systems and microtonalities, electronic processing, and hyperamplication are some of the tools that shape this artistic statement.“

Das Christoph Meier Quartett präsentiert die Kompositionen des Cellisten. Gemeinsam mit Laura Pfeffer (Klavier), Felix Kolb (Percussion) und Eddie Seidl (Trompete) erzählt das Quartett melodiöse Geschichten und lädt ein, in die farbenreiche Klangwelt, in der diese Instrumente so schön mit ihren SpielerInnen harmonieren. Die vier MusikerInnen studieren gemeinsam an der Anton-Bruckner Universität in Linz.

„Entre“ ist Spanisch und beschreibt ein Dazwischen. In ihrem künstlerischen Prozess, der sich zwischen Tanz und Theater, Musik und Zirkus, Nähen und Scheitern entfaltet, erforscht Pamina Milewska den Moment der Zusammenkunft von Publikum und Akteurin.
Startpunkt soll die kreative Produktion eines Putzlappens im Rahmen eines eschwungenen Reifens sein. Was ist, wenn der Reifen fällt…?

Pamina Milewska ist bilingual aufgewachsen und lernte dank ihrer Familie bereits früh die Bühne in den Bereichen Theater und Tanz kennen. Mit der Zeit entdeckte sie den Zirkus, die Musik und den Wald. Sie ist bereit für Experimente und liebt das Lernen.

“Entre” is Spanish and describes an in-between space. In her artistic process, unfolding between dance and theatre, music and circus, sewing and failure, Pamina Milewska explores the moment of encounter between audience and performer.

The starting point is the creative production of a cleaning rag within the frame of a swinging hoop. What happens if the hoop falls…?

“What if mosquitoes carrying blue blood were flying around you” “Mechanics of Fear; mosquito and blue blood” is a research-based performance that investigates the mechanics of fear and how we are dealing with it. Using the mosquito as a metaphor—which is almost invisible, persistently annoying presence attached to the body of the Other—the project poses a question: “How is fear projected onto the Other?”

Sunggu Hong is a Vienna-based artist working in visual and performing arts. “Relation” is a central concept in his practice, through which he asks: “How we should/could live together within interdependent and entangled relationships” and “Why alienation and hatred emerges within these complex relationships” Currently he explores the relationship between Human and NonHuman from decolonial perspective, asking “How are we raised by one another?”

Herzliche Einladung zur offenen Lesebühne zum Thema “Consens, Communication, Conflict” 

Wie funktioniert die offene Lesebühne?
Auch diesmal könnt ihr wieder eure eigenen Texte zum Thema verfassen und bei der Lesebühne vortragen! In gemütlicher Atmosphäre dürfen sich alle trauen Texte vorzulesen - keine Bewertung, einfach Mut zum Teilen. Eure Texte müssen nicht perfekt oder fertig sein, die Lesebühne ist ein gemeinsames experimentelles Labor, wo es darum geht, uns im Vortragen auszuprobieren! Danach kann sich eine gemeinsame Diskussionsrunde ergeben oder einfach gemütliches Zusammensein vor Ort.

Jede*r kann mitmachen – wir freuen uns über zahlreiche Teilnehmer*innen. Anmeldung ist nicht nötig, kommt einfach vorbei!
