but we don‘t only perform musically. we also want to make a statement as you might guess from the pics we posted over the last days. sometimes you simply have to provoke to get heard.

these times are the most frightening and challenging ones our generation (and the ones next to us) ever had to experience. in addition to all the substantial problems mankind has to face anyway, like climate, poverty, health etc., we‘re living in an era of violence, war and extremism. and meanwhile even just around the corner. why do we as humans not learn from the past? so sad…

dominik and I decided to draw your attention to what we want to express with some extreme form of visual appearance. it‘s not only about showing you that (especially electronic) music has the power to connect people and always stood for coming together peacefully, no matter what skincolour, sexual orientation, social or educational status you own.

it‘s also about the fact, that, no matter how dangerous and threatening the 1980‘s (from which the uniforms we’re wearing actually come from) might have been, it wasn’t only the most important decade for the development of electronic music as a foundation to what we call techno, it was the decade with the least number of „hot“ conflicts throughout modern human history. what would we give for reaching again this balance we had back then! think about it…

the event tonight and the slogan „make rave not war“ shall be understood just the way it is hosted and written, so please come and rave / dance against violence in amy form tonight. and tomorrow. and on monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday. and then repeat.
