Happy New Year family climb 🎊
It has been awhile since we went bouldering and the public holiday gave us that chance. I took it really, really easy and it was still a lot of fun!

Innsbruck World Cup 2025 was AWESOME ⚡
My first time at a World Cup and it exceeded my high expectations. Although the weather was hot as hell - including a barrage of hail which briefly threatened to cut the women's boulder final from the schedule - the athletes soldiered through it with amiable professionalism. The crowd and the atmosphere were electric in many moments, roaring in waves to cheer on the athletes. The toilets were the cleanest I've ever used at any big event. I got to take photos with a few of my favourite comp athletes - those pics coming up next! I will treasure this experience for the rest of my life 💛 If you have been uhm'ing and ah'ing about going to a World Cup, it's a no brainer 🎉

At my first IFSC World Cup competition! It bucketed down before the men's boulder finals but that didn't dampen my excitement, and what a show it was. I will have to post more pics later. It was fun to try a smorgasbord of problems and holds. Variety is truly the spice of life! 🌶️

Let's take a walk on all fours on an overhang 😌 After warming up on more vertical routes, it was a nice challenge to try a problem on the overhang. Jugs, thou art my friends.

New year, new resolutions? One of ours is to be able to hang onto these hot yellow fibreglass. They sure make Mr Climbily's muscles pop 😄 We had a good mini session on these holds with a friend on our homewall.
