Microchimerism // Acrylic on canvas, 110 x 80 cm

The painting "Microchimerism" is a cosmic event on canvas, that dissolves the boundaries between science, myth, and human connection. Serving as the lead visual for the International Symposium at the Medical University of Graz in May 2026, it invites the viewer to explore the invisible, cellular threads that bind us inextricably across generations.

The canvas is dominated by a central mother figure radiating an aura of unshakable strength. Floating before her is an infant, a delicate being of light born from a protective halo of maternal energy. The mother shields her child with oversized, levitating hands that stand like two mighty rocks against the tide. Integrated into these painted hands are carefully selected collage elements: superhero figures cut from original 1975 comic books. This choice is an homage to "ancient superpowers“, extraordinary abilities such as telepathy and intuition that were long dismissed as mere fantasy, but which science is now beginning to identify as the biological reality of microchimerism. They serve as proof that the power of creation (and love in Tom’s opinion) are among the strongest forces in the universe. To her right, her second daughter floats upside down, defying the laws of gravity and linear time. This compositional stroke serves as a reminder of life's unpredictability and the countless dimensions in which we exist and remain connected. The figures are linked by DNA double-helixes and energetic currents, bridging the gap between the mystical atmosphere as well as the scientific research made today ;-)

The word "MICRO" is subtly hidden throughout the image, its letters placed like tiny diamonds in the four corners of the frame, challenging the viewer to embark on a journey of discovery. Particularly striking is the placement and design of the letter "R" at the heart of a golden sphere. As the centerpiece of the word, its prominent, luminous position upon the maternal womb grants the "R" a sacral elevation strongly reminiscent of the historical Christogram. This search symbolizes the quest for our own identity, the hidden facets of our personality that we often only discover when confronting our past and our roots.

"Microchimerism" is an invitation to reflect on the nature of deep human bonding, the power of love, and the fascinating discoveries science makes every day. It is an homage to the invisible threads that connect us and the infinite possibilities slumbering within.

The Jeremy's 3 // Acrylic on canvas, 100 × 80 cm

Three men. Three characters. A cinematic entrance. These three men are no fictional characters, they are the faces behind Jeremy's: a high-end menswear boutique in Graz where style isn’t just sold, it’s celebrated.

At the center of the work lies a classic heroic composition. Hannes Riedl, Christian Hammer, and Robert Pfundner form a modern triptych of masculinity. While the figures represent groundedness and poise, the background dissolves into a playful, almost dreamlike world.

Those who look closely will discover personal details and hidden messages within the dynamic clouds of color: A floating banner bearing the word in japanese lettering "Stammhaus" (Flagship Store) commemorates the generosity of Jeremy's, the house that outfitted me for the in Osaka. Glinting between the brushstrokes is the signature "Jeremy’s Gin", a symbol of the lifestyle embodied by the team.

"The Jeremy’s 3" is more than a portrait. It is a tribute to friendship, craftsmanship, and the aesthetic that makes the Graz flagship store so unique, far beyond the city limits.

Two Men on Tractor // acrylic on canvas // 60 × 70 cm

In this composition, I deconstructed the classical concept of homeland, redefining it as a sense of belonging that extends far beyond mere geographical boundaries. Set against the rolling hills on the outskirts of Graz, the work captures the dynamic energy of a region in transition. It serves as a humorous yet profound manifesto on the adaptation of tradition in the 21st century.

The centrally positioned tractor acts as a technological bridge between generations. Staged as a masterpiece of detail, this vehicle is far more than a piece of agricultural machinery, it is a vessel for symbolism. Most striking is the paradox of leisure: the most eye-catching element is a wicker basket overflowing with golf balls, flanked by polished golf clubs. This visual irony characterizes the contemporary "farmer" of the Graz region, who moves as naturally across the fairway as he does across the field. The work is a living testament to the fact that homeland is not a static concept, but something we actively shape and reinvent every single day.

What an incredible day! I’m still absolutely flashed by the energy. It was such a distinct honor to present the “Steirischer Kürbiskerngeist” alongside Destillerie Hochstrasser. Getting to design the label together with my brother Andy Lohner made this project a true labor of love. 🎨

A massive thank you to the wonderful Susanne Haubenhofer. She organized the fantastic mini-exhibition and live painting inside the Rent a Bim vintage tram. Creating art in such a unique and nostalgic setting was an absolute highlight! 🚋💨 Seeing us featured so prominently on page 2 of der Grazer feels amazing. Huge thanks for the great coverage and the appreciation! 🗞️🙌

And last but definitely not least: A big thank you to everyone who stopped by! 🫶🏻 The exchange and all the great conversations we had are what made the day truly special. To everyone who supports and follows my journey. It wouldn't be half as much fun without you! ⚡️🙏

CTRL Air // pencil and acrylic on paper // 21 × 29,7 cm

This piece was painted specifically for the Women's Footvolley European Championship 2026. It captures that exact split second where gravity simply ceases to exist. A body becomes a single line of pure tension, making a definitive decision in a heartbeat.
You can almost feel the energy in the vibrant pink splashes and the sharp, sketching lines. It’s that thin margin between total control and the sudden release, a state of pure presence where the game transforms into art. This work is about the focus, the freedom, and that one, perfect moment in the sand.

Mike Patton // Acrylic on canvas, 21,0 × 29,7 cm cm

Mike’s upper body is presented to us frontally, yet he does not look directly at us. His gaze passes by, out of the frame, as if he sees something we cannot. That is what makes it so compelling: you feel close, yet a subtle distance remains.

Behind him, "Mike Patton" appears in large typography. Here, the lettering is more than just his name, it becomes part of the stage, part of the atmosphere. It frames the figure, gives it weight, and turns the image into a striking, modern poster. The composition plays with perspective and geometry: clean lines, all carefully structured, almost architectural. And yet it does not feel cold, but powerful and alive.

The jacket immediately draws the eye. It forms the true center of power in the composition. A visual labyrinth. Endless patterns, ornaments, layers, and overlapping details that open into ever-new dimensions. Running along the jacket is "Stripsearch". No coincidence, it is Tom’s favorite song by Faith No More. One can truly get lost in it, just as one does in great music.

Croatian Queen // Acrylic on canvas, 100 × 100 cm

This work presents a larger-than-life presence: she strides effortlessly across the water. Her posture is light, open, relaxed, as if she has just let go of everything. On her head rests a crown, not as a sign of power, but as a symbol of self-empowerment. She is the queen of her own moment.

Her body almost dissolves into movement. The dress, a transformed Croatian flag, flows not only in the wind, but also seems to melt. Red, white, blue, and the checkerboard pattern become fabric, become motion, become identity in movement. Homeland is worn. Particularly captivating are the dreamlike details: a fish floats through the fabric of her dress, as if there were no boundary between sea and air. Nature here does not follow the rules of physics, but the rules of mood. Reality and dream merge.

Beneath her lies a deliberately simplified coastal landscape. Clear architectural forms, simplified house shapes, a suggested church, and two boats in the bay. Like a small vacation for the eyes, without any fuss, simply to enjoy.

The Kings of Metro // Acrylic on canvas, 70 × 50 cm

We see the visionary in profile, his gaze intentionally directed beyond the frame, toward a future still unwritten. He does not merely observe the world, he questions it. The city does not simply rise behind him, it seems to emerge from his thoughts. This work is not a glimpse into a distant galaxy. It is a deep exploration of one of the most urgent questions of our time: How do we protect the heart of our cities while making them better, day by day and how can we ignite the fire in the ones visiting them? 🌇

The architecture in the background is no finished product, but a vision in progress. The flying vehicles symbolize our constant drive to rethink mobility and urban living without ever losing our sense of grounding. At the center stands the iconic , a powerhouse manufactured by MagnaInternational in the artist’s hometown of Graz. It represents continuity in a rapidly changing world, proof that tradition and technological evolution are not opposites, but powerful allies. 🛠️
