SPATIAL SOUND CONCERT IN DOM IM BERG | 16. Dec 2024 | 19:00h

The IfSW is proud to announce the grand finale of the Nerd Nights concert series in its current format! Join us at Dom im Berg for an evening dedicated to the cutting edge of spatial sound. This last concert will feature live performances by Peter Hutter, Marko Ciciliani, Eichamt, and Lain Iwakura, with DJ sets from Puschmann, Užas!, Nor, and Valentin.

This is the final event in the current series before Nerd Nights evolves into the Spatial Sound Lab next year, focusing on sound experimentation and development without live concerts. Don’t miss out on this momentous night as we celebrate the end of an era and look forward to a new chapter in sound exploration.

Unser neues Tanzstück “Sky Burial” feiert im Rahmen des Tanzabends „Unfolding Shapes“ am 19. Mai im Kristallwerk Graz Premiere!
Eine junge Generation von professionellen Tänzer*innen und Choreograph*innen aus Graz wird ihre neuen Stücke im Bereich des zeitgenössichen Tanzes präsentieren.

Ganz besonders freuen wir uns diesmal auch über die Kollaboration mit vier fantastischen Künstler*innen .graz die mit Visuals, Interaction, Sound & Light Design wesentlich an der Umsetzung von “Sky Burial” beteiligt sind!

Über das Stück:
Ambitioniert vom Glauben an endlose Möglichkeiten meinen wir, zu allem fähig zu sein – sind dazu verleitet, der Natur ehrfurchtslos zu begegnen. Eine solche Selbstüberschätzung kann jedoch auf fatale Pfade führen: Wird die Kraft der Natur unterschätzt, kann sie einen verschlingen. Oft beginnt sich unser Gemütszustand erst dann zu wandeln, wenn wir uns ausweglos und gefangen wiederfinden…
