After leading in the first uphill, loosing in the difficult and muddy downhill and making everything clear in the second half, Patrick KIPNGENO pushes himself to the win 🥳🔥. Very strong performances also from Philemon Ombogo KIRIAGO who came in 2nd and Michael Selelo SAOLI on pos 3💪🏽🥇🥈🥉
In the ladies race Ruth Mwihaki GITONGA who lost pos2 in the downhill fighted hard for pos 4 🚀

Raymond CHERUIYOT is the winner of the Nightrun in Innsbruck. The traffic on the 4 loop course didn’t stop him to finish the Half Marathon in 62:56🥳💪🏽

What a race, what a performance by Caroline Makandi GITONGA, representing Kenya for the first time in Worlchampionships.
Keeping the pace from the prerace favourite Amebaw from Ethiopia in the first part, pushing hard from km 3 to 4 to open a gap to the chasing group and finally resisting against the chasing ladies on the last km to secure position 2!!!!

So happy and proud of Carolines performance and development in last 12!!! years, since she joined run2gether.

After leading to 5 Km focusing on new pb, Purity Kajuju GITONGA needed to slow down in the demanding 2nd half. She finished 6th in a very strong ladies field! Raymond CHERUIYOT, pacing for the men group and new Czech record clocked in new pb in 28:35!
