The Aigners’ collection of sculptures is the result of 50 years of loving acquisition. First it was collector’s passion, then it became
profession and vocation!

Since childhood, stone has always held an incredible significance for Mr. Johannes Aigner. He was always pleased, when someone knew how to display stone in its true light. Whether it was used as a stone wall or as a granite trough, made with simple tools
100 years ago by sculptors form the 19th and 20th century, he always admired and valued their beauty. Mr. Johannes appreciation of fine stone works expanded to include copies of sandstone sculptures from the “big masters” of the 16th and 17th century. In earlier times, these distinctive sculptures beautified gardens for lordly villas. Sandstone sculptures never lost their admiration
All pieces are collection pieces, unique and hand-carved
