The RG65 International Class Association (RG65 ICA) has expressed its intention to explore the possibility of organizing a Global International Championship for the Class in 2027–8. To support this initiative, I’m launching a broad survey on social media, inviting sailors from around the globe to share their views on the most suitable continent to host the event.
Feel free to share this survey with groups or individuals who sail RG65 boats.

Which continent would you prefer to host the RG65 Global Championship in 2027-8? Multiple choise form

El Club de Aeromodelismo de Chile (CACH) cuenta con un estanque artificial especialmente diseñado para competencias de vela radiocontrolada. A mi juicio, es el entorno ideal para navegar, no solo por su infraestructura de primer nivel, sino porque fue concebido específicamente para esta disciplina. Dispone de una plataforma elevada para timoneles que ofrece una perspectiva privilegiada de los veleros, además de estar techada, lo cual se agradece enormemente bajo el intenso sol. Asimismo, merece destacarse la calidez y camaradería de los anfitriones chilenos.

The Chilean Aeromodelling Club (CACH) features an artificial pond purpose-built for radio-controlled sailing events. In my view, it’s the finest venue for sailing—not only due to its excellent infrastructure, but above all because it was designed specifically for this activity. It includes an elevated helmsman’s platform that provides an outstanding vantage point for viewing the yachts, and it’s covered, which is a welcome relief from the harsh sun. Equally noteworthy is the warmth and friendliness of the Chilean hosts.

I've decided to stop using the name Tango to avoid confusion with other RG65 builders who have chosen the same name even though Tango is the name of a traditional dance from my country, Argentina, and I had adopted it long before they did. Now it's called GC 2.1 3D.
