Our HR and Management Assistant, Euritce Armando, represented Papyrus Group at the 5th Annual Local Content Conference, held on March 26-27, 2026, at Tenda da Ilha in Luanda.
Organized by ANPG in partnership with Sonangol E.P. and under the patronage of MIREMPET, this major industry event brought together over 𝟏,𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝟐𝟎𝟎+ 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬, government entities, regulators, and operators under the theme "Local Content - A National Commitment."
The conference evaluated five years of progress since the implementation of 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝟐𝟕𝟏/𝟐𝟎, which established the Local Content Legal Framework for Angola's oil and gas sector.
Key topics included:

✅ Human capital development and skills transfer
✅ Strategic partnerships and technology transfer
✅ Value retention in the country

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 – Bourbon S327 | Oct–Nov 2025
Papyrus Group successfully completed maintenance works on the 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝟑𝟐𝟕 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥 🚢 during October–November 2025, including:
🔹 Full blasting of the underwater area
🔹 Application of antifouling coating
🔹 Top hull sweep blasting and coating
These operations were essential to protect the vessel’s structure, improve performance, and extend its service life.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 for delivering this project with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Connecting Angola and Ivory Coast: A New Chapter for Regional Trade ✈️
Last week, April 6, 2026, TAAG - Linhas Aéreas de Angola inaugurated its direct Luanda–Abidjan route, marking 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭.
The route will operate with three weekly flights, and the first flight carried 104 passengers. A strong signal of interest and demand for this new connection.
This new connection is the result of 14 bilateral agreements signed last year between the two countries, aimed at deepening commercial, economic, and cultural relations.
For Papyrus Group, which operates in both Angola and Ivory Coast, this direct flight represents more than convenience. 𝐈𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡-𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 for business, partnerships, and regional integration across West and Central Africa. 🌍

MAEF/Sonangol R&P Corporate Cup: Sport Bringing Companies Together 🏐
On March 7, 2026, Papyrusgrp participated in the MAEF/Sonangol R&P Corporate Cup, a beach volleyball tournament held at Ilha do Cabo in Luanda.
Six companies competed throughout the day:

✅ MAEF
From 9 AM to 1 PM, teams battled across two courts in a round robin format followed by semifinals and finals. The energy was incredible, and our team gave their best on the sand.
This event was more than competition. It was about teamwork, respect, and building connections across the energy and business sectors in Angola. Sport has a unique way of uniting people and strengthening the values we share. 💼
