We conducted a small flash survey about the recent crisis due to the rain and the conditions of the roads.
Here are the results.
Most people feels the situation with the road and the rain is worst than ever
The majority of respondents say that OLB is responsible to fix this
4 out of 10 answered that the rain will get worse next year
8 out of 10 feel Bonaire is not prepared to face Climate Change
We also asked an open question about how the situation of last Tuesday affected people and businesses. Here are the five most common answers
Car damage
School suspension
Loss of internet and/or electricity
Loss of sales (no clients)
Coral damage

Here are the results of our most recent poll. In it we asked several questions to see if the people of Bonaire is of the opinion that the island needs public transportation.
Over 500 people filled in the survey. 98% said that they believe we need public transportation and 96% answered that they would be willing to pay for it.
Also we asked what is their current mode of transportation; 80% responded that their main mode of transport is auto, and even most of them answered that they would be willing to pay for public transportation.
Clearly this issue is important for the Bonerian people, and a great opportunity to make the island even more ecofriendly and fair for everybody.
