ITALY 🇮🇹
I’ve been blessed to travel to many countries around the world, and to say that Italy, outside of my homeland, feels the most like home would be a massive understatement.
First, the fashion culture 👔
And I’m not speaking about luxury brands or expensive clothes.
I’m talking about walking down the street and seeing everyone from the elderly to the youth dressed with elegance, class, and effort. It genuinely feels like eye candy for the soul.
I could sit at a café, people watch all day, and honestly be more entertained than Netflix 😅
Second, the espresso culture ☕️
Over here, espresso is not just coffee.
It’s an art form.
A ritual.
A moment of connection.
As someone who truly loves espresso and is meticulous about how it’s made and consumed… safe to say I feel right at home here.
Third, despite being large metropolitan cities, Italy somehow keeps a warm family energy.
It never feels too small.
But it also never feels cold or disconnected.
And finally:
“La Dolce Vita.”
The sweet life.
The understanding that slowing down, connecting, eating well, dressing well, and appreciating beauty is not laziness… but part of living a meaningful life.
And I haven’t even started speaking about the food, the art, the history, the nature, or the architecture 🇮🇹
Traveling has taught me that certain places in the world align more naturally with who you are as a person.
And very often… it’s not necessarily the place you were born.
Safe to say my travels are far from over.
But Italy no longer feels like a place I simply want to visit…
It feels like a culture I want to be a part of 🇮🇹

💝
48 hours in Tbilisi 🇬🇪
And honestly… I was massively impressed.
The whole drive there, my friend Levon kept telling me:
“Don’t end up liking Tbilisi more than Yerevan” 🤔
I didn’t fully understand what he meant until we hit the very first roundabout.
The architecture, infrastructure, the way the river flows through the city, the strong Christian presence, the cleanliness, the energy… I was genuinely caught off guard by how beautiful it was.
What surprised me most is that many Armenians told me beforehand that Tbilisi and Yerevan are very similar cities.
But once I got there, all I could see were noticeable differences.
And after thinking about it more, I realized maybe what people mean is not necessarily the architecture or infrastructure… but more the ideology, culture, religion, values, and lifestyle of the people.
That part, I definitely felt.
I truly believe Tbilisi is a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be going back to explore it more.
That being said, there was also a part of the trip that weighed a little heavy on my heart.
Knowing how much Armenian history is connected to that city created a strange emotional contrast in my mind throughout the visit.
But at the same time, it made me very happy seeing such a strong Armenian diaspora community there 🇦🇲
And honestly… during this whole trip, all Levon and I did was speak about geopolitics 😂
There’s a line in a song that says:
“Eating seeds is a pastime activity.”
I genuinely think for Armenians… discussing geopolitics might be one too 😅
History, culture, politics, development, mentality, identity…
Safe to say we unpacked everything 😄
All that being said, I truly left amazed by what the city has to offer.
And if I have to give one point back to Armenia…
I still think our food scene and nightlife are better 😅
The energy, cafés, people, and warmth… there’s something very special about Armenia.
Do you think Tbilisi and Yerevan are similar cities?

PERCEPTION vs. PERSPECTIVE 🧠
One of the most important concepts I teach when it comes to communication, leadership, and success.
This picture was taken during my masterclass last week at the Russian Armenian University.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as an entrepreneur, speaker, and coach is this:
Business ultimately comes down to one human being communicating with another human being 👥
That’s why understanding human behavior, emotions, thought patterns, and perspectives becomes one of the most valuable skills you can develop.
The problem is that many people stay trapped in their own perception ⚠️
“If I think this way, everyone else should too.”
But life doesn’t work that way.
The moment you begin understanding the perspective of the person in front of you… your colleague, business partner, competition, audience, or friends… you begin developing a much deeper level of awareness, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
And ironically, by understanding others better… you begin understanding yourself better too.
You identify blind spots.
You refine your beliefs.
You challenge assumptions.
You strengthen your thinking.
But this requires discomfort.
Growth often demands questioning ideas you’ve carried for years.
One of the worst things you can do is spend your entire life only around people who think exactly like you.
You leave wisdom, growth, and opportunities on the table.
Some of the greatest growth in my life has come from traveling, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people with completely different life experiences and perspectives 🌍
Some beliefs became stronger.
Others evolved.
Some completely changed.
That process is not always comfortable… but it is necessary.
Because if you cannot lead yourself, how can you expect to lead others?
I truly believe God placed me on this planet to teach and simplify complex ideas so people can apply them to their lives immediately 🙏🏼
So I’ll leave you with the same question Neo was asked in The Matrix:
Do you take the red pill or the blue pill? 💊
The decision is yours.
The outcomes are vastly different.

48 hours in Tbilisi 🇬🇪
To say I was impressed by the city would be an understatement.
Now that I’ve been living in Armenia for almost a year, I’ve heard many locals say that Tbilisi and Yerevan are very similar cities…
I’m going to have to slightly disagree 😅
Both are beautiful in their own way, but they each have a very different energy, culture, architecture, and vibe.
I’ll explain more in an upcoming vlog from the trip 👀
But in the meantime, here’s a little snapshot from a great 48 hours with my brother 😁👊🏼
Definitely recommend visiting this city
One thing that’s beautiful about moving to a new country is that you kind of reinvent yourself.
You try new things.
You meet new people.
You step into experiences you might have never considered before 🇦🇲
And honestly, that’s exactly what happened with squash.
Huge thank you to my brother Hovhannes for getting me into the sport 👊🏼
What I love about sports communities is that you instantly meet like-minded people. People who value discipline, growth, competition, and challenge.
And squash… definitely surprised me 😅
I genuinely felt like a gladiator in there.
Fast paced. Confined space. Constant movement.
You’re reading angles, walls, timing, positioning, and your competitor all at once.
It’s incredible for athleticism, hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and strategy.
And the funniest part? 😂
I’m such a delusional optimist that after only playing 3 times in my life…
I genuinely walked into the tournament thinking I might actually win the whole thing 😅
But honestly, I think that mindset has served me more positively than negatively throughout my life.
Sometimes you have to believe in yourself a little irrationally before reality catches up.
Trying new things and putting yourself in uncomfortable situations is one of the best ways to grow.
That’s something we speak a lot about in our book Play for Profit 📖
Some of the greatest business and life lessons come through sports.
Safe to say… I’ll definitely keep playing 😅👊🏼
And I’ve truly been enjoying this experience and the amazing Armenian community around it 🇦🇲
Tell me I’m not the only delusional optimist her
Nobody talk to me about geopolitics when I’m sunbathing 😂☀️🇦🇲
Thanks brother 🫠
