Տեղի է ունեցել «Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ-ի «Երիտասարդ կանանց խաղաղության և մարդու իրավունքների միջազգային մրցանակի» հանձնման արարողությունը: Մրցանակը կրում է գրող, իրավապաշտպան Անահիտ Բայանդուրի անունը:
Մրցանակը շնորվում է աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում մարդու իրավունքների պաշպանության գործում ունեցած բացառիկ ներդրման համար:

Այս տարի մարդու իրավունքների պաշպանության և խաղաղաշինական նախաձեռնություններում ունեցած ներդրման համար մրցանակը շնորհվեց Ահլեմ Նասրաուին (Թունիս), Նարինե Կարապետյանին (Գերմանիա):
Փախստականներին և պատերազմիծ տուժած անձանց ինտեգրմանը ցուցաբերած բացառիկ աջակցության համար հատուկ վկայականի արժանացան Նաիրա Գասպարյանը (Հայաստան, Մարտունի) և Անահիտ Փարսադանյանը (Հայաստան, Նոյեմբերյան), Հեյդի Մեյնցոլտը (Գերմանիա)՝ խաղաղաշինության և ժողովրդավարության հաստատման գործում ունեցած երկարամյա ներդրման համար։

«Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ-ն շնորհակալագրեր հանձնեց նաև Մեծ Բրիտանիայի և Հյուսիսային Իռլանդիայի Միացյալ Թագավորության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Ն․ Գ․ Ալեքսանդրա Քոուլ, Հայաստանում ՄԱԿ-ի մշտական համակարգողի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատարՄոնիկա Սանդրիին։

Սփյուռքի հանձնակատարի գրասենյակը մարդու իրավունքների և զարգացման ծրագրերի իրականացման, կանանց ներառականության ապահովման և տեղական ազդեցության ընդլայնման ոլորտներում ակնառու գործունեության համար շնորհակալագրեր շնորհեց Քերոլան Նաջարյանին, Ժակլին Աբրամյանին, Անդրեա Մարտինին, Ջուդիթ Սարյանին, Oդրի Քալաջյանին։

The "International Young Women’s Peace and Human Rights award" of the "Democracy Today" NGO has taken place. The award is named after writer and human rights defender Anahit Bayandur.
The award is given for exceptional contributions to the protection of human rights in various countries around the world.

This year, the award for their contribution to the protection of human rights and peacebuilding initiatives was awarded to Ahlem Nasraui (Tunisia), Narine Karapetyan (Germany). For their outstanding support in integrating refugees and individuals affected by war, special certificates were awarded to Naira Gasparyan (Armenia, Martuni) and Anahit Parsadanyan (Armenia, Noyemberyan). Heidi Meinzolt (Germany) received recognition for her long-standing contribution to peacebuilding and the promotion of democracy.

The "Democracy Today" NGO also presented letters of appreciation to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, H.E. Alexandra Cole, and to Monica Sandri, Acting Resident Coordinator of the UN in Armenia.
The Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs awarded certificate of gratitude to Carolan Najarian, Jackie Abramian, Andrea Martin, Judith Saryan, and Audrey Kalajian for exceptional contribution to advancing human rights and development programs, fostering women's inclusion, and strengthening local impact.

«Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ-ն, ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ի հետ համագործակցությամբ անցկացրեց երկօրյա միջազգային կոնֆերանս նվիրված ՄԱԿ ԱԽ 1325 բանաձևի 25 ամյակին։

«Ապրող օրակարգ. Կանայք, խաղաղություն և անվտանգություն օրակարգի 25 տարին և Հայաստանի կոչը՝ հանուն մարդկային անվտանգության» խորագրով կոնֆերանսի բացման արարողությանը ելույթի խոսքով հանդես եկան`

• ՀՀ անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանը,

Կոնֆերանսի մասնակցում էին պետական գերատեսչությունների, տեղական և միջազգային կազմակերպությունների, դիվանագիտական առաքելությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, փորձագետներ, Նոբելյան մրցանակի դափնեկիրներ, համայնքների երիտասարդներ և կին առաջնորդներ։

📍Կոնֆերանսը կառուցված էր ՄԱԿ ԱԽ 1325 բանաձևի Հայաստանի երրորդ գորոծողությունների ազգային ծրագրի 5 դրույթների հիման վրա։ Կոնֆերանսի ընթացքում քննարկվեցին «Կանայք, խաղաղություն, անվտանգություն» օրակարգը, մարդկային անվտանգությունը, կանանց դերի բարձացումն ու ներկգրավածություն որոշումների կայացման գործընթացում, տեղահանված անձնանց խնդիրները, սփյուռքի կարևորությունը ԿԽԱ օրակարգի առաջխաղացման գործում, կլիմայական փոփոխությունների մարտահրավերններն և կիբեռանվտանգության սպառնալիքները։

“Democracy Today” NGO, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, held a two-day international conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325.
At the opening ceremony of the conference titled “Living The Agenda: 25 Years of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda and Armenia’s Call for Human Security”, welcoming addresses were delivered by:
• Gyulnara Shahinyan, President of “Democracy Today” NGO
• Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia
• Dork Sahagian, Professor at Lehigh University, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate
• Robert Abisoghomonyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia
• H.E. Alexandra Cole, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia
• Monica Sandri - UN Resident Coordinator a.i. in Armenia
• Ani Yeghiyan - Forcibly Displaced person from Artsakh
• Ms. Meline Tamazyan - Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy Cadet

The conference brought together representatives of state institutions, local and international organizations, diplomatic missions, experts, Nobel laureates, youth from communities, and women leaders.

📍The structure of the conference was based on the five pillars of Armenia’s Third National Action Plan for the implementation of UNSC Resolution 1325. Discussions addressed topics such as the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda, human security, the empowerment and participation of women in decision-making processes, the issues faced by displaced persons, the role of the diaspora in advancing the WPS agenda, challenges related to climate change, and cyber-security threats.

«Անդրադառնալով կանանց դեմ բռնությանը հետկոնֆլիկտային Հայաստանում» ծրագրի շրջանակում «Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ-ն երկօրյա դասընթաց էր կազմակերպել Լոռու, Տավուշի և Գեղարքունիքի կանանց կոմիտեների ներկայացուցիչների համար:

Դասընթացի առաջին օրը բրազիլացի մասնագետ Մոնիկա Պինհանեզը խոսել է մասնակցային բյուջետավորման մասին։
Երկրորդ օրը «Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ նախագահ Գյուլնարա Շահինյանը մասնակիցների հետ քննարկել է ՄԱԿ ԱԽ 1325 բանաձևը, ինչպես նաև գործողությունների տեղական ծրագրերի մշակման աշխատանքնները։
Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ-ն ծրագիրն իրականացնում է «Դաններ» հիմնադրամի հետ՝ CISU-ի աջակցությամբ:

Within the framework of the “Addressing violence against women in the border areas of post-conflict Armenia” project Democracy Today NGO organized a two-day training for representatives of women’s committees from Lori, Tavush, and Gegharkunik.
On the first day of the training, Brazilian expert Monica Pinhanez spoke about participatory budgeting.

On the second day, the president of Democracy Today NGO, Gulnara Shahinyan, discussed UN Security Council Resolution 1325 with the participants, as well as the development of local action plans.
The project is implemented by the “Democracy Today” NGO in cooperation with the “Danner” Foundation, with the support of Civil Society in Development (CISU).

«Անդրադառնալով կանանց դեմ բռնությանը հետկոնֆլիկտային Հայաստանում» ծրագրի շրջանակում Լոռիում ու Գեղարքունիքում ձևավորված կանանց համայնքային կոմիտեների նախաձեռնությամբ կանանց նկատմամբ բռնության կանխարգելման թեմայով դասընթացներ են անցկացվել Վանաձորում (Լոռի), Աստղաձորում, Արծվանիստում, Զոլաքարում, Ծովինարում (Գեղարքունիք)։

📌 Դասընթացը վարել է փորձառու հոգեբան Իննա Հայրապետյանը։
📌 Քննարկվել են բռնության տեսակները, դասընթացն անցկացվել է ֆորում-թատրոնի մեթոդաբանությամբ։

«Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ-ն ծրագիրն իրականացնում է «Դաններ» հիմնադրամի հետ՝ Civil society in development (CISU)-ի աջակցությամբ:

Within the framework of the "Addressing Violence Against Women in Post-Conflict Armenia" project, on the initiative of women's community committees formed in Lori and Gegharkunik, trainings on the prevention of violence against women were held in Vanadzor (Lori), Astghadzor, Artsvanist, Zolakar, Tsovinar (Gegharkunik).

📌The training was conducted by experienced psychologist Inna Hayrapetyan․
📌Types of violence were discussed, the training was conducted using the forum-theater methodology.

The project is implemented by the “Democracy Today” NGO in cooperation with the “Danner” Foundation, with the support of Civil Society in Development (CISU).

«Դեմոկրատիան այսօր» ՀԿ-ն դանիական «Դաններ» հիմնադրամի հետ համագործակցությամբ «Կանանց նկատմամբ բռնություն. տրավման հաշվի առնող խնամք և զրույցի մեթոդներ» թեմայով վերապատրաստման դասընթաց է անցկացնել թեժ գծերի աշխատակիցների, հոգեբանների, սոցաշխատողների համար:
Դասընթացին մասնակցել են ՀՀ ՊՆ, ՀՀ ՆԳՆ Ոստիկանության, Փրկարար ծառայության, Միգրացիայի և քաղաքացիության ծառայության թեժ գծերի աշխատակիցները, ՀԿ ոլորտում աշխատող հոգեբաններ և սոցաշխատողներ:

The NGO “Democracy Today”, in cooperation with the Danish “Danner” Foundation, conducted a training course on “Violence against women: trauma-informed care and conversation techniques” for hotline operators, psychologists, and social workers.
Participants of the training included hotline operators from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs: Police, the Rescue Service, the Migration and Citizenship Service, as well as psychologists and social workers working in the NGO sector.
The training includes the elements of:

📍 The typology of domestic violence
📍 Introduction to signs and consequences of violence
📍 Compassion fatigue and self-care strategies
📍 Trauma-informed practice and approaches
📍 Practice-based learning: Conversation techniques

At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates.

Ծրագրի շրջանակում տեղի է ունեցել եռօրյա դասընթաց՝ բռնության ենթարկված անձնաց հետ աշխատող տարբեր մասնագետների համար, ովքեր հրավիրվել էին Լոռիից, Գեղարքունիքից և Տավուշից։ Դասընթացը վարել է դանիացի փորձառու մասնակգետ Կառեն Բոեսենը:

"Democracy Today" NGO, in partnership with the "Danner" Fund, continues the "“Addressing violence against women in the border areas of post-conflict Armenia” project. Within the framework of project, a three-day advanced training on violence against women in Yerevan was held. The training was conducted by Danish expert Karen Boesen. The training was designed for various professionals to work with victims of violence. The training includes the elements of:

📍 Compassion fatigue and self-care strategies
📍 Trauma-informed practice and regulation techniques
📍 Debriefing and feedback models, Conversation techniques
📍 Facilitation of the Participatory Decision-making Model
📍 Brief introduction to working with families
At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates.
The project is implemented with the support of Civil society in development (CISU).

Տիկին Ջուդիթ Սարյանի և նրա ընտանիքի շնորհիվ, Armenia Tree Project-ի, «Դեմոկրատիա այսօր» ՀԿ-ի և Մարտունու համայնքապետարանի հետ համագործակցությամբ Մարտունիում կառուցված ջերմոցում տեղի է ունեցել առաջին բերքահավաքը։ Ստացված սնունդը տրամադրվել է տեղի մանկապարտեզներին։

Thanks to Mrs. Judith Saryan and her family, and in collaboration with the Armenia Tree Project, “Democracy Today” NGO, and the Martuni Municipality, the first harvest has taken place in the greenhouse built in Martuni. The food produced was provided to local kindergartens.
