The event was established in 2000 and the aim is to raise awareness of how patents, copyrights and trademarks impact our daily life. Each year a specific theme is chosen to be associated with the day. The theme of the 2020 World IP Day is - Innovate for a Green Future! 🌱

Our Company gladly joins the initiative and kindly reminds our beloved colleagues and clients: "The choices we make today will shape our tomorrow."

2019 թվականի նոյեմբերի 14-ին տեղի ունեցավ «Հայաստանում մտավոր սեփականության ապագան և միտումները» խորագրով պանելային քննարկումը՝ ոլորտի լավագույն ներկայացուցիչների մասնակցությամբ։ Պանելային քննարկմանը մասնակցեց նաև «ԱՐԱԳ» ՍՊԸ տնօրեն, Մտավոր սեփականության իրավատերերի ակումբի նախագահ Արարատ Գալոյանը։ Պանելային քննարկման ընթացքում վերհանվեցին մտավոր սեփականության ոլորտի արդի հիմնախնդիրները, ներկայացվեցին, ի թիվս այլնի, ներպետական և միջազգային գրանցման ընթացակարգերը, մտավոր սեփականության պաշտպանության և խախտված իրավունքների վերականգնման և հատուցման առավել արդյունավետ միջոցները։ Քննարկման նպատակն էր մտավոր սեփականության իրավատերերին իրազեկել իրենց իրավունքների և դրանց արդյունավետ պաշտպանության միջոցների մասին։

Trademarks, copyrights, and patents protect different types of intellectual property.

protects an original artistic or literary work. A patent protects an invention.

An application for a registered Trade Mark is subject to a search to identify any similar or identical pre-registered TMs filed in relation to the same or similar goods or services.
A TM application may be rejected if it conflicts with earlier TMs.
