Re-apaga

Our Story

Re-apaga was founded as a charity foundation in 2016. Realizing that the unique and diverse nature of Armenia is in immediate danger because of the huge amount of waste that ends up in the environment annually there was and still is a huge need to act.

We decided to do something about it by starting to raise awareness about the waste related environmental issues in Armenia. Following we have been running a recycling facility in the Tavush region and recycling waste from over 30.000 People. Today Re-apaga is focusing on implementing sustainable solution together with local companies. Together with ApagaCommunity a reward-based recycling system was successfully implemented in Yerevan with over 4000 people engaged in recycling.

However, our work does not end with reducing CO2 emission and environmental pollution through recycling. In order to have an even greater impact and limit the effects of CO2 on climate change, we are working on the reforestation of an area of 30 hectare in the coming year.
