Why the $68,000 Level Has Become a Key Price for Bitcoin

After several weeks of gains, Bitcoin has once again become the focus of market analysts. This time, experts at Bitfinex identified $68,000 as one of the most important levels for Bitcoin’s next move. Whether BTC can establish itself above this zone may determine the direction of the current market cycle.

According to Bitfinex analysts, the $68,000 area represents a strong resistance level for several reasons. First, it is close to the average purchase price of short-term holders over the past few months. Second, Bitcoin started the second quarter of this year at approximately this level.

When the price returns to such levels after a period of decline, many investors choose to sell at break-even to recover their initial investment. As a result, the first test of this resistance may be accompanied by increased selling pressure.
