The opening of the newest Flying Tiger Copenhagen store in North Macedonia, the brand’s 4th in the country and 13th across the region, is another important step in that journey, with more openings planned throughout 2026.

The opening of the new Flying Tiger Copenhagen store in Durrës marks another step in the successful partnership between BALFIN Group and Flying Tiger Copenhagen, bringing the total network to 12 stores across the Western Balkans.

This continued expansion reflects a shared vision of making innovative products, European design, and quality retail experiences more accessible across the region. Through strong partnerships and a deep understanding of local markets, BALFIN Group continues to connect international brands with consumers throughout the Western Balkans, with further store openings planned across the region.

BALFIN Americas joined American Chamber of Commerce in Albania's mission to Washington, D.C., participating in discussions with representatives of the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, CIPE, and the Atlantic Council.

As BALFIN Group continues to expand its presence in North America, these meetings provided an important opportunity to present our growth story, investment approach, and long-term vision to key U.S. institutions. The discussions also highlighted the growing potential of Albania and the Western Balkans, as well as the importance of international partnerships, strong governance, and a competitive business environment.

For BALFIN Americas, participating in these conversations is an important part of strengthening connections between our region and global markets.

Gen Z talent and innovative ideas came together at Young Innovators 2026, an initiative of the Fakulteti i Ekonomisë, Universiteti i Tiranës.

Through Neptun Albania, BALFIN Group supported the event. Neptun Albania was part of the jury and supported Signify, an AI-powered smart glove that translates sign language in real time, highlighting how technology can provide practical solutions to everyday challenges.
