Significant participation of SettingLaw through Ms. Valbona Gjoncari to the workshop on achieving EU standards from integrity to compliance, organized by American Chamber of Commerce and Institute for Democracy and Mediation.

On the workshop insightful and informative discussions taken place on how ESG initiatives can be translated to the organization, aiming to enlighten the business community in implementing of such processes provided by the law in conformity with the EU standards and policies.

Honored to be a member of the Investment and Trade Committee of AmCham Albania and to have participated to the Committee’s meeting that addressing the concerning issues facing business, for the purpose of improving the legal framework in this sector.

The Committee aims to ensure a stable business environment in Albania, interacting between businesses, state and professionals to develop a platform for dialogue in developing investment regulatory solutions in accordance with the global best practices and policies.

The draft law "On Concessions and Public Private Partnerships" introduced key changes in line with EU legislation, and aims to create a favorable and sustainable framework for the promotion, attraction and creation of investment facilities in the Republic of Albania.

SettingLaw through its managing partner Valbona Gjoncari attended the specialized training session on "VAT and the New Rules for Controlled Foreign Entities", organized by the American Chamber of Commerce.
During the session was highlighted the significance of the recent legislative changes, as well as their practical application within the European Union.
