Fun fact: Our grand prize winner sat in the crowd on Saturday Night supporting our National Calypso Monarch, Roxxy as she rendered "You're A Winner" .... and so it was!
Khadeisia Richardson's name was called as the grand prize winner during the intermission of the Leeward Islands Calypso Competition. Her mother, Ms. Avelyn Sylvester was in disbelief!

This is what Ms. Blanaid Dwyer (cash prize winner) had to say:
"Thank you [raffle executives] for your kindness today. It was greatly appreciated. This financial windfall will be invested directly into the development of an online course which will be offered to students in Anguilla free of charge."
Blanaid Dwyer was the Human Resources director of Malliouhana Hotel for a number of years before qualifying as a school guidance counsellor and psychotherapist. She developed a highly successful 6 week solution focused programme called "The Overcoming Anxiety Process" to help those experiencing difficulties with anxiety.
This course will be accessible on her website: www.overcominganxiety.ie once it is updated in September using the funds acquired from her winning prize.
Blanaid is deeply committed to her work with the youth of Anguilla!

1) Due to an unforeseen incident, the Grand Raffle has been rescheduled and is happening TONIGHT at the Leeward Islands Calypso Show. The draw will be carried live on facebook by Lloyd's Live.
2) Ticket holders are NOT required to be present at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Center in order to win. Every ticket holder, near and far has an equal chance of winning!
3) Ticket holders are NOT required to present their winning ticket in order to claim their prize. Once you can present proof of identity and verify your address, this will be sufficient.
