The founders of PATH-O have many years of work experiences in development sector and are actively associated with local and international NGOs since its establishment in the Baluchistan province of Pakistan. The need to establish PATH-O came from the very bleak picture that Baluchistan represents in terms of basic human development indicators such as health, education and access to basic services and human needs. PATH-O has started its activities in Afghanistan and plans to implement development and humanitarian programs in the various provinces of Afghanistan with the strategy to reach the most vulnerable communities addressing their dire needs. As per the similarities of cultures, needs, issues and languages the mandate of the organization remains the same as devised at the time of the establishment of the organization. Path-O is registered with Ministry of Economy in Afghanistan under registration number: 2727 year 2012. Path-O is also registered with the Directorate of Social welfare, Government of Baluchistan in Pakistan under social welfare ordinance of 1961 by the name of Ariana Development Foundation (A.D.F). PATH-O has a team with years of experience in providing humanitarian and development response to poor communities. The team has an experience of working with communities, building capacity of government employees and providing emergency response.
