International Mine Awareness Day | April 4
On this important day, MDC stands with the global community in the shared mission of a mine-free world.
Since 1989, we have worked across Afghanistan to clear landmines and explosive remnants of war, protecting lives and restoring safety to communities.
Our commitment extends beyond clearance—we also provide essential medical care and rehabilitation to those affected, particularly displaced persons, children, and people with disabilities.
Every life saved, every field cleared brings us closer to lasting peace.
We remain dedicated—to awareness, action, and healing.
