Witness the King of the Arctic in Svalbard.
Arctic wildlife in their own habitat is one of the most exhilarating experiences. There are roughly 3000 polar bears in Svalbard, which exceeds the human population. ♥️

198 days left for Christmas! Have you booked your journey yet? 🎅🏻 🙄

One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is, “When is the best time to see the lights?”

Drawing from over 15 years of experience in the Arctic, our consistent answer is “from September to March”with occasional sightings extending into the first week of April.

However, the appearance of these beautiful auroras is influenced by various factors including cloud coverage, solar activity, and light pollution, all of which are beyond human control and are part of Mother Nature’s domain.

To increase your chances of witnessing this natural phenomenon, there are few things you can do: practicing patience, selecting locations with minimal light pollution, gaining knowledge about the science behind auroras and booking a northern lights hunt experience with a trusted knowledgeable guide who devotes their time in searching for the lights.

Overall, it’s what’s makes it so special and all worth the effort in the end ♥️
