GISEC Global

The Global Quantum Drill is live, and the world is plugged in.

Teams from participating countries are stepping into the same scenario, testing how they respond when quantum risk moves from theory to pressure.

Different systems. Different markets. One shared challenge: readiness.

AI is changing the threat. Quantum is changing the equation. And cyber is changing with it.

Day 1 at GISEC GLOBAL 2026 went straight to the heart of the new digital order, with critical conversations spanning AI-driven threats, sovereign cyber, critical infrastructure, OT security and quantum.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Alkuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, set the tone by reinforcing the importance of collective cyber defence and the role of the community as the first line of defence.

The Main Stage also welcomed Michael Kelly, four-time Emmy-nominated actor known for House of Cards, for a conversation on deepfakes, digital identity and what happens when technology can convincingly imitate anyone.

Dubai Electronic Security Center added another major moment, unveiling SARAAB, its Emirati-developed open-source AI model designed to detect deepfake videos, as well as the Dubai Cyber Skills Framework and ISR Auditor Certification Programme.

Now, the scale of the conversation becomes clear.

25,000+ cybersecurity professionals. 750+ cyber brands. 350+ speakers. Participants from 180+ countries. Three days in Dubai.

Day 1 has set the agenda.

Day 2 is next.

Dubai Electronic Security Center Cyber Security Council

One of the biggest security questions of the AI era took centre stage today.

The Global Leaders Series at GISEC GLOBAL 2026 brought global voices together around a critical question: how do we defend a $28 trillion digital economy as AI becomes more deeply embedded across critical systems?

The focus was on control, resilience and trust, and what nations need to strengthen as the new digital order takes shape.

Hosted in partnership with Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and organised by inD, the Global Leaders Series marked a key moment from Day 1 at GISEC GLOBAL 2026.
