UAE landlords can now check prospective tenants’ credit scores through UAE PASS but only with the tenant’s approval.
Launched by Etihad Credit Bureau in collaboration with UAE PASS, the new “Tenant Screening” service aims to bring more transparency, trust, and security to the UAE rental market. Landlords can request a tenant’s credit score, while tenants stay in control through a consent-based approval system.
The update also includes AI-powered cheque clearance indicators to help reduce risks linked to bounced cheques, delayed payments, and rental disputes.
Available now via the Etihad Credit Bureau app and website.
