⏪ Looking back on 2022, it's hard to sum up all the emotions we've experienced.📝

From the relief and hope of living with the COVID pandemic, to the heartbreak 💔 and sadness of overturned precedent, climate catastrophes 🌊🌪️and ongoing wars around the world 🗺️, it's been a🎢 rollercoaster of a year and yet just a glimpse of the headlines. 🗞️

And while it's easy to focus on all the challenges the world has faced, amidst all the struggles, there have also been moments of incredible joy 🤩 and hope 🤞🏼 (apart from my happiness of Argentina 🇦🇷 winning the ultimate prize 🏆).

Welcoming a new generation into the world 🚼 and our family has been a blessing that has brought so much light 🪔 and love 💜 into our lives.
We're grateful 🙏🏼 for the opportunity to watch our little one thrive, continuously reminding us (notably, when I need it the most) of the incredible strength and resilience 🧗🏼of the human spirit.

With that, let's wrap up 2022: the year of beginnings 👏🏼.

Recently when , and went down - did many of us realize the dependency on these platforms?

That as soon as our routine breaks or something happens to disrupt it - we find ourselves lost without direction for a while because the dose that we are accustomed to has disappeared?

Or if there’s a power outage and our attention needs to be focused on something other than constant stimulation from screens all over town (and not just the device in your pocket)?

The ability to contact someone during the outage did not disappear; instead it made people more aware that connecting with others isn't always easy.

And sometimes we leverage addictive tools without fully understanding that we need to remain in control of the narrative and not succumb or rather fall into the reliance trap of the social itself.

The current world state does not make things easier. The days where we were able to get together in person in large numbers, talking about our lives and catching up are long gone (for the short term at least).

Social platforms have connected and distanced us all at the same time and from discussions with people I meet and talk to, it seems to be more difficult than ever for people to learn to connect or reconnect through a completely “offline” persona.

In the end, the question is simple: How do you want to keep connected with people and what would you do if the social platform you depended on fell apart?

When I started working, I wanted to be liked at work. Then I realized that people who are likeable don’t need to try so hard 😉
