🏉 Durban Rugby Tour – Glenwood Festival 🇿🇦
What an unforgettable experience for all players who attended the Glenwood Rugby Festival in Durban.
The tour exposed our players to a significantly higher standard of rugby, particularly in terms of physicality and speed of play. We are incredibly proud of how they responded—adapting quickly, competing with confidence, and rising to the occasion. This is a true reflection of their character, mindset, and preparation. 💪
Beyond the rugby, the experience was just as special off the field. From enjoying the beach and a memorable safari, to great food, building lifelong friendships, and creating lasting memories—this tour had it all. 🌊🦁
Highlights included attending a URC match, a behind-the-scenes stadium tour at Kings Park, and meeting professional players—experiences that will inspire our players for years to come.
Looking ahead, our goal is to return next year with two teams and continue testing ourselves against some of the top school rugby sides in South Africa.

Our U13s had the experience of a lifetime in South Africa, touring the vibrant city of Durban! From unforgettable safaris 🐘 to beach days ☀️, zip-lining through mountain canopies 🌄 to epic steak dinners 🥩 — and even a behind-the-scenes look at the Sharks training at Kings Park 🦈 — this tour had it all.

But the real highlight? The rugby.

Undefeated and proud. The boys and girls showcased incredible skill, passion, and teamwork across all three fixtures. 🏉🔥

Pathways & Progress at PinnaKle Rugby Academy

We were delighted to welcome Tim Westwood, Women’s Rugby Head Coach at the University of Nottingham, to PinnaKle Rugby Academy this week. His visit marks an exciting step forward in our commitment to creating meaningful pathways for both our boys and girls.

Our girls’ squad had an inspiring training session with Coach Westwood, followed by an engaging information session alongside their parents. Opportunities like these not only develop skillsets but also open doors for aspiring players to explore future possibilities in rugby, both academically and professionally.
